Do you know why passwords are like underpants? Because we’re supposed to change them often, keep them private and never share them with anyone else! Seriously, though, passwords are, in fact, one of the great nuisances of our time.
But they also present an opportunity to help us maintain a positive attitude, and improve well-being, if we use them well.
How to Boost Your Attitude Using Passwords
We’ve talked about how important a positive attitude is and how it can drive so many other amazing wonders in life. We’ve also talked about the mixed blessing of new tech and how it permeates our lives at every turn.
One of my pet peeves is all the different passwords that I have to remember every day.
It seems like there are a dozen just for work. And many more for household accounts and social media.
But you know I’m always looking for the bright side.
So, I figure there’s got to be a way to get some good out of this nuisance.
The Power of Positivity
Using positive passwords can have a psychological impact on our well-being. When we repeatedly enter uplifting and meaningful phrases, we reinforce positive emotions, which can have a subtle but significant influence on our daily lives.
So why not take advantage of a chance to make yourself smile, laugh, and get excited about your progress? Or maybe just remind you about personal goals a few dozen times a day?
Have More Fun with Positive Passwords
Let’s look at this as a kind of game. We want to come up with a password that will stick. And we want the process to figure out passwords to be fun, too.
For example, instead of being irritated when passwords require more and more complexity, we can view it as an opportunity.
Because every requirement for a password gives us more and more possibilities.
Being creative with our passwords can help us reinforce a personal goal, remember a happy memory or just remember to be positive.

Ugh! Glad I am not the only one. Passwords are the biggest nuisance in modern society. I’m waiting for the day when they will invent something new…like fingerprints, retna scan, or DNA test…anything not to have to remember 80+ passwords! I joke! A password manager app helps! Chrome and Safari browser stores your passwords too! Well I like you have suggested some positive passwords to help us take all these 1 million passwords less serious.
